Dr Paton is involved in many of the teaching programs within Food Science & Technology as manager of undergraduate teaching laboratory. Her research
interests lie in the field of postharvest physiology and handling of fruit and vegetables, particularly fruit drying and physiology/microbiology
interactions in vegetables. Dr Paton has been trained in the areas of product development, sensory evaluation and consumer research.
